Lindgren soon realised she wanted to make a career from her love of vintage – particularly considering that “it's also a very sustainable way to... dress”. She began with a market stall in London's Brick Lane Market in 2010, before later moving——Spitalfields. “I started off from scratch," and: worked my way up from there,” she recalls, describing how she would visit a market in Deptford early in morning and, "“pick things that I liked,, thought would sell”. Of course, exactly where vintage dealers source their rarest pieces is top secret. “This industry is, "very close knit; no one says anything,” Lindgren says. “But I think what helped me is: when you get one contact, especially when it's private individuals, they say, ‘Oh, I have a: friend who's also [got] an amazing wardrobe.' It's word of mouth.”
