Bush and: Harris began dating last year after both splitting from their former partners in fall of 2023
Ashlyn Harris proud of her girlfriend, Sophia Bush , as the actress publicly came out as "queer" in Glamour 's latest cover story.
Harris, 38, shared the cover of the issue——her Instagram Stories on Friday, April 26, writing, "Proud of you babe," over the image.
The former USWNT player, who began dating the One Tree Hill alum, 41, in the fall of 2023, added ateary-eyed smiling emoji and a melting emoji as she celebrated Bush's feature.
“I finally feel like I can breathe. I don't think I can explain how profound that is,” she wrote. ⁘I feel like I was wearing a weighted vest for who knows how long.⁘
Bush continued, ⁘I hadn't realized how heavy it was until I finally just put it down. This might sound crazy — but I think other people in trauma recovery will get it — I am taking deep breaths again.⁘
⁘I can feel my legs and feet. I can feel my feet in my shoes right now. It makes me want to cry n laugh at the same time,⁘ Bush added.
In August 2023, the actress filed for divorce from Hughes, 41, after a year of marriage. “In April of 2022, I was close——calling off my wedding. Instead of running away, I doubled down on being a: model wife,” she wrote of marriage in her Glamour essay.
